KineMaster's Text-to-Speech is Amazing. And Free!

This blog post introduces KineMaster's on-device Text-to-Speech (TTS) tool, outlining how it generates fast, accurate spoken audio from text layers without requiring internet connectivity or server uploads. The article notes how this feature provides a cost-effective alternative to paid voice talent for creators looking to produce multilingual versions of social video content for YouTube, TikTok, and Reels.

Accessibility, entertainment, and audience engagement are some of the many reasons why videos with spoken audio perform better across social media platforms. Using paid talent for voiceovers can get expensive in terms of both time and money, despite the obvious benefits that they bring to your creative vision. KineMaster is pleased to offer a cost-effective voiceover solution for all of your video (and audio) needs.

KineMaster’s Text-to-Speech (TTS) tool offers fast, accurate spoken audio that can be further refined with KineMaster’s many audio controls.

What Makes KineMaster’s Text-to-Speech Stand Out:

KineMaster’s Text-to-Speech tool converts text to audio layers at the tap of a button.

Create a text layer and type what you want to turn into spoken narration, import an .srt file and convert that, or copy and paste text from anywhere into your KineMaster project. Then tap the Auto Captions button.

There’s no reason to stop there. KineMaster’s Text-to-Speech tool, when paired with other audio controls, gives you incredible flexibility and can bring your video to completely new audiences:

Tool Description
Auto Captions Quickly processes text into spoken word narration
Multilingual Options Supports Portuguese, Spanish, Indonesian, Korean, English, and Japanese
Seamless Editing Audio tracks are added directly onto the Timeline where they can be further refined

Why Editors Love KineMaster’s Auto Captions Tool

“I recently tested this while making a short-form video. I used Auto Captions to highlight product features in short phrases—and it made even simple visuals feel much more engaging."

Two things I loved most:
1. No need to use my own voice
→ It’s awkward recording myself and hearing my voice played back when I edit.
2. Easy multi-language versioning
→ I quickly created English, Japanese, and Indonesian versions of my video with the same text, making global content distribution so much easier.

KineMaster’s Text-to-Speech tool is Free.

KineMaster’s Auto Captions tool, for all language packs and audio controls, is completely free. No in-app payments, no licensing requirements, and no issues with commercial use. Download and start using the Auto Captions tool in minutes– pay never.

All of the editing tools in KineMaster are free to use. Cut, crop, trim, reverse, speed up, add slow-mo, use a green screen… the list is long, but the cost is nothing.

FAQ

How can I improve my Text-to-speech results?

From time to time, Text-to-speech may produce unusual results. Removing punctuation from your Text layer can help with that. In languages where the written word isn’t pronounced the same, removing silent letters can help.

Can I make Text-to-speech use my own voice?

Yes. You can create an AI Voice asset with your own voice when you log in to kinemaster.com and visit the Asset Studio. There, you can upload your voice sample and have it reviewed for distribution on the Asset Store. After approval, you can apply your voice to your Text-to-speech Caption layers.

What if my Text-to-speech language isn’t available in the Asset Store?

Let us know! You can contact KineMaster at any time and make a feature request by tapping the Question Mark button at the top of the Create screen. Then, tap Email Support. You can also let us know by dropping a comment on any of our social media posts (or by sending a direct message).
